About Tiny Frog Retreat
Tiny Frog Retreat is a boutique wellness and rest destination designed to offer guests a quiet, restorative environment grounded in natural surroundings.
Located on a secluded property across from open pastures, the retreat provides an experience centered on calm, clarity, and meaningful pause.

We hold the belief that true restoration happens in simplicity.

The retreat’s name honors the small tree frogs that inhabit the land — creatures rich in spiritual meaning across cultures. Their lifecycle from tadpole to adult reflects transformation, resilience, and rebirth. As natural symbols of adaptability, cleansing, and deep healing, the tree frog reminds us to shed what no longer serves, move fluidly between states, and reconnect with our essential selves.
This reflects our core purpose: to create a space where guests can decompress, reset, and restore from the inside out.

The environment at Tiny Frog Retreat is intentionally designed to support this mission. The setting features expansive skies, open landscapes, and minimal noise interruption. Guests experience natural lighting, quiet outdoor areas, and views that shift with the seasons. Every element—architecture, color palette, materials, and guest communication—is curated to create a consistent sense of ease and groundedness.

Tiny Frog Retreat serves a diverse audience, including:

We value reliability, discretion, and guest-centered service. Tiny Frog Retreat offers a modern, approachable alternative to large resort environments—providing the privacy and personalization today’s travelers expect, with the soul of a place shaped by the land itself.

As we grow, we remain committed to design integrity, local community partnerships, and delivering high-quality guest experiences. Tiny Frog Retreat represents a new category of rural micro-retreat: small in scale, high in impact, and built around the essential need for rest, renewal, and quiet transformation in a fast-moving world.

With a background as a professional ballet dancer and passion for wellness and movement, Courtney always knew a nature-based retreat center, offering space for artists to incubate and create new work was in her future.

Courtney has taught yoga internationally for almost 20 years, and has led transformational women's retreats since 2010. Growing up in the concrete jungle of NYC, she loved the vital heartbeat of the city but craved a deeper connection to Nature and the elements. After living around the globe teaching dance and yoga, and studying numerous healing arts, she now resides in the Bay Area with her three beautiful children. Courtney still dances professionally and works with her non-profit organization RammDance. She holds a Masters Degree in Dance Education from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University.
She is excited about the future development of Tiny Frog Retreat, and plans to renovate existing structures to create a "Ballet Barn", "Art Shack", and performance space to bring top-quality artists from the Bay Area and beyond to this special place of peace and renewal!
